Festival Identity

The only event of its kind – workshop for the representatives of film festivals from V4+ region is part of the Visegrad Accelerator activities. It is a unique hub for the exchange of know-how among film festival representatives, where they start collaborations and coordinate their plans. Dozens of participants of the workshop also deal with issues such as decreasing environmental burden of festivals, geographical and gender balance at festivals, financing and ethics of film festivals, regional relevance of festivals, hybrid models of events, etc. Furthermore, thanks to the presence of festival programmers, there is the multiplication effect for V4 films presented at Ji.hlava, which are being contracted for film festivals across Europe. Thanks to being supported as part of the Visegrad Accelerator, we can host smaller and emerging festivals from the V4+ region, which would otherwise be unable to attend and actively join this network. https://www.ji-hlava.com/festival-identity
