V4 GRANTS GO PAPERLESS; PROPOSALS ARE ACCEPTED ONLY ON-LINE

As of the June deadline, we will be accepting project proposals electronically. In other words, neither application printouts, nor any other hard-copy documents will be required with the proposal which shall only be submitted on-line. How will the pilot work?

  1. Apply on-line: Proposals will be accepted via the on-line application system as before.
  2. Send no papers: Printouts of submitted applications or accompanying documents such as letters of intent or copies of IDs will not be required at the deadline. Applicants are advised to collect the electronic letters of intent from each project partners (scans) as we might request these at a later stage.
  3. Design a realistic budget: In our efforts to increase transparency and limit unneccesary cuts in project budgets, we expect realistic budget proposals. For flexibility reasons, we lifted the €6,000 limit (formerly applied within Small Grants) and can now accept projects with higher budget at each quarterly deadline starting with June 1. In other words—Small Grants and Standard Grants will have the same quarterly deadlines in March, June, September and December.

Thank you; we wish you best of luck!
