Ms. Markéta Pekarová Adamová visited Visegrad Fund

“Round table is a symbol of good cooperation and dialogue and I wish that we use this format in Visegrad cooperation to find our common ground” said Ms. Markéta Pekarová Adamová, the Speaker of the Czech Chamber of Deputies upon her arrival at the Secretariat of the International Visegrad Fund in Bratislava.
Executive Director Mareš Petr and his team welcomed today Ms. Pekárová Adamová with enthusiasm, presenting funding opportunities which are available also for Czech civil society organizations and academia, students, artists and scholars. We are proud of all 86 Czech entities which currently implement their ideas under our funding. Over the 21 years, we have granted more than 20 mil.€ to more than 1500 projects led by Czech organizations.
“This year, we will proceed with new programs focusing on mobility and education of youth and more targeted support to Visegrad and Visegrad+ research, development and digitization projects”, said Director Mareš. Madame Speaker clearly expressed her support to any educational programs for all generations as well as involvement of parliamentary level in Visegrad projects.
