Visegrad Fund turns 18

Anniversaries are a time to celebrate where we come from, but also to celebrate how we’ve changed. In 2018, the Visegrad Fund turns 18! On our birthday, 8th of June, we prepared a series of workshops to share with you our accomplishments, discuss your fundraising strategies and learn from your study/art mobility experience. We would like to invite you to be with us as we look back on our journey over the past years!

Visegrad grantees, scholars, artist residents

WHAT:
13:00 – Impact methodolgy workshop
WE WILL:
Come together to hear and to tell the stories of impactfull project.
Learn from each other about how we understand impact.
Challenge ourselves to understand how we can more effectively boost our potential impact.

15:00 – Coffee break

15:30 – Fundraising seminar (parallel workshop 1)
WE WILL:
Talk about fundraising argument as the most important message for attracting donors. 
Discuss online giving as whole new universe for fundraising:
– on line space for giving as advantage or disadvantage for long term relationships with donors
– peer to peer boom of new opportunities
– crowdfunding challenges
– web, micro sites and other communication tools
LECTURERS: Jana Ledvinová (Czech Fundraising Center, CZ), Anna Happ (NIOK Foundation, HU)

15:30 – Mobility workshop (parallel workshop 2)
WE WILL:
Share experiences with study exchanges in Central Europe. 
Discuss the benefits and differences compared to other scholarship programs (e.g. Erasmus)
Challenge ourselves with proposing ways how to make the most out of Visegrad study/research stay.

To participate, please confirm your attendance no later than one business day prior to the conference day by filling in the registration form. It is possible to attend the conference also without registration. However, in case of full capacity, we will give preference to registered participants. Admission is free of charge.
