Celebrating 25 Years of Cooperation and Solidarity
On June 10, 2025, the International Visegrad Fund commemorated its twenty five years with a festive gala held in Bratislava, Slovakia. Special event marked the 25th anniversary of the founding of the International Visegrad Fund, celebrating a legacy of partnership, trust, and cross-border collaboration in Central Europe.
The event brought together distinguished guests including Slovak President Peter Pellegrini, ministers for foreign affairs from all four Visegrad countries, ambassadors, and representatives of civil society and partner institutions. Their presence underscored the Fund’s enduring role as a pillar of regional cooperation.
In their speeches, leaders praised the Fund’s contributions to culture, education, civic engagement, and scientific collaboration. President Pellegrini described the Fund as a “unique instrument” for building trust and mutual understanding across borders. Ministers emphasized the importance of empowering citizens and institutions to create shared impact — from local communities to international partnerships.
The gala also featured cultural performances, artistic tributes, and reflections from partners — all affirming the Fund’s commitment to Connecting, Inspiring, Growing for the next 25 years and beyond.
