Do you know how to use paper?

Note that:
The worldwide paper consumption is constantly growing year by year.
Paper makes up 14 % of the total mass of household waste.
Paper can be recycled up to 5-8 times.
Recycling 1 ton of paper can save 17 trees.
Producing recycled paper can save up to 70 % of the energy used for making paper products from primary materials.

Today, we have shared with you in our Stories a few tips on how to be more eco-conscious in your everyday activities in the office. At the Fund, we have also reflected on what we could do differently to save paper and other resources and to produce less waste. We have introduced a few small and simple changes which help us get much closer to achieving our ecological goals.
We have significantly reduced the amount of printing by digitalizing almost all steps of project administration.
We are asking our grantees not to send us any non-essential documents in print form, nor any plastic paper sleeves or folders.
We use double-sided printing and recycled paper whenever possible.
We collect paper and other recyclable waste separately.

A great example is the V4 Green Universities project organized by Pécsi Tudományegyetem, which created a partnership of universities implementing complex and innovative environmentally friendly solutions on their campuses.
