Tribute to 25 Years of V4 Cooperation
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the International Visegrad Fund, we are proud to unveil a specially commissioned artwork by acclaimed Slovak artist Mária Čorejová — a powerful visual reflection of the Fund’s mission, values, and long-standing legacy.
The original drawing was revealed during the anniversary gala and ceremonially signed by the President of the Slovak Republic along with the foreign ministers of the V4 countries, symbolizing their continued commitment to regional collaboration.
The composition centers on a solid architectural structure, captured in dynamic perspective — a symbol of stability and trust, which form the cornerstone of the Visegrad Fund. From the windows and entrance, light radiates outward, signifying dialogue, cooperation, and openness to new ideas.
Sweeping, fine lines stretch across the artwork, suggesting movement, growth, and the passage of time — echoing the Fund’s journey over the past quarter-century. Floating within the abstract space are points of connection, representing the vibrant network of people, institutions, and cultures brought together by Visegrad cooperation.
Among these are four distinct dots — a subtle nod to the Fund’s logo — symbolizing the four Visegrad capitals: Bratislava, Budapest, Prague, and Warsaw.
This is more than just a drawing. It is a visual manifesto — an expression of shared purpose, cultural diplomacy, and a united vision for the future. As we reflect on 25 years of connecting, inspiring, and growing together, this piece stands as a timeless reminder of the values that continue to guide the Visegrad Fund.
