1st International Camp Session for Teenagers with Oncological Disease

BTF will organize a 7-days long international camp session at its campsite, Hungary for teenagers (14–18) living with oncological disease from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. We believe that our camp brings life changing experiences, lasting change to the lives of the 80 children we serve in this session. The positive effects of camp also help their physical recovery. The camp itself is a multicultural island of tolerance and empathy, where 190 young people (campers and volunteers) learn to exist in a multicultural environment that teaches them to be patient, tolerant and supportive towards one another. The participants’ linguistic skills improve.
