Citizen Science in the Carpathians: Building Capacities of Managers of Protected Areas
The Living Lab approach will serve as a practical example of citizen science initiative. It will be based on observation of selected citizen science projects in delimited territory in PA in Hungarian Carpathians dealing with biodiversity monitoring and focusing on communication between PA managers and local communities. The project partners will cooperate on establishing Living Lab and during/after the project life they might be able to transfer the result to particular protected areas (at Hortobágyi National Park).
