Bats and People in the Danube Region
Program (20:00–1:00): In this event, identification of riparian forest-dwelling bat species will be taken with ultrasonic bat detector and mist-nets. The field event will take place at the Northern peak of the Szentendre-island, where the Börzsöny and the Visegrad Mts meet. Visitors can experience all tools (bat detector, mist-nets, bat rings, etc.) which are used in the field during the season. This course focuses on the most frequent bat species occurring on riparian close-to-nature forests in this part of the Danube. Place of event: Kisoroszi, GPS coord.: 47°48'33.12"N, 19°0'49.96"E.
