Brave Kids V4 Group Leaders’ Program

Jun 18, 2018 – Jul 3, 2018
Rzeszów, Poland
Project
Brave Kids – Experience and Knowledge of V4 Countries
Group Leaders are educators and professionals who travel with the Artistic Groups as their legal guardians as well as representatives of their organizations. During the Group Leaders’ Program, they work together with our facilitators to create a space to share their expertise as educators working with kids through art, while also interacting with the local community. In the first week of the program, Group Leaders will focus on exchanging their methods of working with kids, team-building, and preparing for workshops for local children in the following week. They will also present their organizations and work to local NGOs in a public event (described separately) and participate in an Intercultural Evening with Brave Kids staff, Artistic Instructors, and project volunteers. During the second week, Group Leaders will run workshops for an integrated group of children comprised of children from host families and a group of children with autism and other disabilities from Association TITUM. They will create a collaborative performance to be presented alongside the Brave Kids City Final Show. Group leaders will be hosted by local host families. At the end of the Leaders' Program we will conduct a collective evaluation of it. As Participants of the Leaders' Program will come from V4 countries, they will be able to discover the common heritage and discuss the national policies for addressing social challenges in their countries. The Program will help them build relationships that will lead to strong partnerships and cooperation in the future. The project will be facilitated by Justyna Warecka in English.
