To finance their projects (animation series/films etc.), independent producers crucially depend on the support from their national broadcasters and from national and international funds. Widest possible interest from television channels from other countries is a great help too. Broadcasters’ involvement is a key indicator for all other partners (including national and international audiovisual funds) that it is possible to trust that the project will be hopefully successfully produced and that it will reach its viewers.
