Bats and People in the Danube Region
Program (18:00-24:00): In this course, identification of forest-dwelling and cave-dwelling bat species with the detector and in-hand will be taken. The visitors will be able to view, which tools are used by a bat researcher and how to use them (bat detectors, mist-nets, bat rings, etc.). In addition, we give some useful information, why is important to determine bat species of a protected site and what can we do with those data. Further, we take notes, how to live together bats and the people in the same area and site, and how we can help bats to survive.
