International travelling exhibition "Years of Disarray" - Final stage
The event is being held in Modern Hungarian Art Gallery, on an area of 300-350 m2 with approx. 100 paintings, graphics, sculptures on display, completed by documents, photos, films and journals of the period. The aim is to process and present the history of the avant-garde on Central Europe, with a groundbreaking cooperation between the countries of the region. Twelve thematic foci of the exhibition connect artists from different parts of the former Austria-Hungary and the successor states such as were Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland, the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenians, regardless of their group identity or direction, their origin and citizenship.
