Annual Summer School in Molecular Biophysics and Systems Biology 2018
The Annual Summer School in Molecular Biophysics gives university students from the Czech Republic and abroad an opportunity to gain experience in a diverse range of scientific fields and techniques, through working on real scientific problems, attending lectures, and socializing with other students and researchers. Summer school participants work in a highly international environment, in laboratories equipped with state-of-the art scientific instruments. The lectures are given by leading scientists from the Czech Republic and other Visegrad countries, but also from Austria, USA and elsewhere. Funding for accommodation (for students and lecturers) and awards is being requested. The financing and organization of the summer school is also shared by the Institute of Microbiology in a form of renting laboratories as well as sharing a part of the accommodation costs and purchasing some chemicals for the work in the laboratories.
