The purpose of the visit is to introduce cultures and traditions of Małopolska region to students. They will become acquainted with the folklore of Cracow and Podhale: music, dance, costumes, regional dialects, wooden construction and traditional cuisine. Day 1 Folklore of Podhale region Music workshops with a regional band. Dinner at a regional inn. A trip to Zakopane (Krupówki Street, Gubałówka Hill) . A trip to Chochołów- classes on traditional highlander architecture. In the evening - folk music party. Day 2 Folklore of Cracow A guided tour, legends of Cracow, St. Mary"s Church, The Main Square, The Cloth Hall, Wawel Hill. Day 3 Folklore of Orawa region An open-air museum at Orawa Ethnographic Park. Workshops ‘From grain to bread’ - how bread was baked. Nowy Targ sightseeing. Classes at school: preparation of a memorial folder, project evaluation, presentation of certiicates.
