Investigative Journalism in the Visegrad region and the Western Balkans: Achieving Economic Sustainability

Discussion with regional experts will focus on the business and managerial aspects of running an investigative medium. Some choose to start a non-profit entity, some not; some choose to crowdfund, and what are the ethical criteria of financing such an operation, etc. The practicalities are essential in providing a safe environment for journalists to work in and the practical focus of the session will have a capacity-building goal. The session will be preceded by a coffee break for the participants.
