Presentation Evening of the Project “Galicia, Silesia and Spiš in the light of the common Jewish heritage” at JK Meiselsa Street 17, Kraków at 6 PM; Lighting Hanukkah candles and a presentation “Jewish Krakow – the spiritual center of three regions” – led by the rabbi of the Jewish community in Ostrava and the Jewish progressive community Beit Kraków – Rabbi Tanya Segal; A first-hand story: “History of the renovation of the synagogue in Krnov (Czech Republic)” – mgr. Petr Aharon Tesař (Beit Silesia, ŽO Ostrava); “Beit Kraków Synagogue” – presentation of the social action of renovation of the historic synagogue in Kazimierz, Krakow [www.beitkrakow.pl/synagoga] D. Theater concert “Jewish Music of Galicia, Silesia and Spiš” based on a research of the composer, music researcher and virtuoso Michał Pal’ko performed by the Mojše Band The project presentation evening will be a part of a series fundraising events for a renovation of a historical synagogue in the center of Krakow - a project led by the grantee - Center for Progressive and Reform Judaism in Krakow.
