Project
Cohesion of Public Libraries and Schools for Greater Community Participation
In total 16 persons (8 librarians and 8 civic education teachers) will be trained in local self governance issues. During 2 days online training delivered by Georgian expert participants will improve their knowledge regarding roles, responsibilities and exclusive competences of local self governance. The training will gain librarians and teachers better understanding of how local authorities function and what are their rights as well as responsibilities in front of citizens to be able to better communicate and advocate local needs and problems. We deliberately selected librarians and teachers as a target for this training, as they are respected persons in their communities having close ties with young people what's more important, and will serve as knowledge spreaders and ,,educators'' in their communities.
