Meeting of Representatives of Cluster Communities

Organization by the Applicant of a two day meeting for a group of representatives of clusters and people interested in cluster topics. The meeting will be attended by representatives of all V4 countries, the invitation will also be directed to potential participants from outside the V4 countries. The event is scheduled for the entire 2 days from 1:00 to 17:00 (the place proposed by the Applicant: Cracow, Poland). First day (2/06/2018) – organization of an event referring to the project already carried out by the Applicant named "Clusters in the Visegrad Group - Challenges of the Future" co-financed by the International Visegrad Fund, including: continuation of previously launched talks, discussing successes, planning further joint actions aimed at further tightening cooperation between cluster organizations from the Visegrad Group countries (joint projects, lines of action to strengthen cooperation, etc.), further strengthening of cooperation between representatives of clusters from the V4 region. Second day (29/06/2018) is devoted to organization of an event directed to clusters – the accompanying event named the V Congress of Polish Clusters, for which a large group of representatives of cluster communities, cluster supporters and above all experts on cluster topics from Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, as well as from other countries of Eastern and Western Europe will be invited. This will be the fifth edition of the event, which has already been organized by the Employers' Association Polish Clusters, which enjoys great recognition among the cluster community in Poland. The following sectors / branches will be the leading themes of the project: 1. aviation-defence-space, 2. IT, 3. Agriculture – biotechnology-food industry. In addition, the talks already launched at the "Clusters in the Visegrad Group - Challenges of the Future " conference will be continued, i.e. innovations in clusters (cooperation in the field of research and development within clusters) and on cluster policies in individual V4 countries. Applicant assumes the organization of: - Two full-day meetings (from 10:00 to 17:00). The participants of the meeting, who will come from the V4 countries, both from other Polish cities as well as from Hungary, Slovakia or the Czech Republic, will be guaranteed accommodation from Friday to Saturday. The price is estimated based on the responses to the price inquiry. We assume that some people may not have the possibility to return to their place of residence on the day of the event, hence it will be necessary to provide them with accommodation (accommodation for approx. 100 participants). -The cost of meals for participants during the event organized as part of the project (1st day: 2 coffee breaks and one lunch, a gala dinner, 2nd day: 2 coffee breaks and one lunch). - The cost of hiring a meeting room and technical service of the event, as well as the costs of experts will be included as part of the expenditure; -Travel expenses of organizers and speakers related to coming to the meeting.
