National Training of Journalists (2)

We will organise training of journalists in covering migration and integration issues based on practical examples and practical work. It will consist of 3 sessions organised within 3 weeks. It will be based on methods we have already elaborated. It will consist of these parts: 1) terminology matters; 2) who are we in the topic?; 3) migration and integration processes; 4) fieldwork; 5) work with data. The same/similar trainings (based on common methodology elaborated together) will take place in CZ and PL, with PL partner least experienced with this, so exchange of best practices and lessons learned will be essential. Pedagogically, the course will be led by expert on global issues and media Peter Ivanič and Stanislava Luppová, professional editor and expert on development journalism, but also academic experts on the given issues, experts from the non-profit sector and journalists experienced with migration and integration topics will be invited.
