Bridging the EU’s New–Old Divide
Carnegie and the Casimir Pulaski Foundation will jointly lead an outreach campaign in Warsaw. This will consist of: A private briefing at Polish MFA (Jan. 21, lunchtime), with senior specialists from departments across the Ministry; An event “An Unbridgeable Divide? How to Heal the EU’s East-West Fracture” hosted at Casimir Pulaski Foundation in early afternoon. Carnegie Europe fellows Tomáš Valášek, Pierre Vimont, and Stefan Lehne will lead a lively discussion featuring experts Jan Macháček, Katarzyna Pisarska, and Márton Ugrósdy. Selected members of the press will join the event at Casimir Pulaski Foundation and will be briefed bilaterally in the margins of the event.
