FIPADOC Meet & Match: VISEGRAD 2025
The How to coproduce with France session offers exciting opportunities for professionals from V4 countries and all-around Europe. The session, moderated by a CNC representative (French National Centre of Cinema), introduced key players within the French industry and highlighted with case studies of successful coproductions delivered by experimented producers. Through a presentation of different coproduction patterns and main rules in France, the session will give the international professionals attending keys and ideas to start collaboration and design their coproduction ambitions more efficiently.
Besides, we'll propose a simultaneous translation of some of the presentations proposed by some of the main French actors and partners: France Télévisions, ARTE France and Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC). France Télévisions and ARTE France line-ups will allow the international professionals to dive into the different slots and co-production possibilities they offer and to get informations about the editorial lines of the 2 main French TV broadcasters. They will meet the people who coproduce and prebuy documentaries and learn about their line-ups and the way they work on a daily basis, in different genres: Society & Politics, History, Science & Discovery, and Arts & Culture. The CNC conference will offer a broad pitcture of the missions and main initiatives carried out by the main French institution when it comes to documentary. The conference will be led by Olivier Henrard, Acting Chairman and CEO of the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC).
