PHOTO COMPETITION AND EXHIBITION

Hory a mesto have been organizing the Photo Competition and Exhibition since its inception in 2000. All photographers are invited to submit their images through the Festival promotional channels, they are then judged by a professional Jury. In addition to the V4 Grand Prize three images are awarded in each category of the Best V4 Photo, Mountain Culture and People, Mountain and Outdoor Sports, and Nature in the Mountains, for the total of 13 awarded images. The competition is open to professional and amateur photographers from all over the world, while special effort will be done to attract photographers from the region. The V4 category is open to photographers from the V4 countries while the photo itself must also be from the same areas. The winning photographs will be exhibited at the Festival for its duration and then touring to the other Festival venues across the region.
