Project
Addressing the common challenges to democracy in the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership
In Prague, partners will have the opportunity to present the positon paper to democracy donors from around the world. The discussion within the Vaclav Havel Circle (VHC) will allow for an in-depth exchange with donors who are already engaged or are interested in being engaged with the regions and can share their experiences and lessons learned. Participants will have the opportunity to present their points of view incorporated in the position paper and discuss their ideas and plans further. At least 10 democracy donors will participate in the meeting. A report will be distributed among participants.
Project partners will also present the positon paper to a more global audience of activists, journalists, policy makers and academics during a panel discussion within Forum 2000 Conference in Prague which enables to reach a broader global audience of at least 50 personalities interested in the region and the future of Europe. A report from the discussion will be distributed among partners.
Project partners will engage in person to develop an advocacy strategy for the position paper. The workshop will focus on the development of a map of actors to engage, either in person or online, and identifying the best ways to do so, resulting in an advocacy plan.
