Education of Young Scientists in Ecologically Friendly Agriculture through WB6–W4 Networking
Three lectures and four trainings will be held during the two-day event in Hungary for 7 participants from SK, SRB and POL. Lectures will be focused on the development of biocontrol products from the field to the lab and back again. Also, they will focus on potential risks of specific Trichoderma strains use in the field. Lectures will be held by Prof. Dr. Csaba Vágvölgyi, lecture titled: The risks of Trichoderma application 1: - The green mould disease of cultivated mushrooms, Dr. Lóránt Hatvani with lecture titled: The risks of Trichoderma application 2: Clinical importance of Trichoderma and Dr. László Kredics with lecture titled: Trichoderma as a biocontrol agent: from the lab to the field and back again, all experts are from University of Szeged. Trainings will be held by young experts dr Sándor Kocsubé, Dr. Miklós Takó, MSc Mónika Vörös and MSc Bettina Bóka from Department of Microbiology, University of Szeged, who obtained their MSc or PhD degree. Main focus on trainings will be sharing knowledge in the laboratory about advanced PCR technologies, enzymatic characterization and screening of potential biocontrol agents. The main criteria for participation of young scientists on trainings will be enrolled PhD studies or obtained doctoral degree not less than 5 years prior to project beginning.
