Seminar/Workshop in Slavonice

Seminar/pilot project in the Czech Republic will be organized by ARCHIP and Centre for the future NGO.It will be comprised of a half day seminar and the workshop for local students. The seminar will take a form of an open dialog between all the partners focusing on particular themes related to participative practices as well as on the role that professionals from different disciplines (from urban planning to art and humanities)can take as actors of urban change. The seminar will be open to all interested parties. The workshop will be designed for students from ARCHIP with the specific local area to be revitalised through community-driven engagement. The holistic approach will be stressed in all phases of the design process from a thorough understanding of the current situation to the definition of flexible solutions deeply embedded in needs and potentials of the local community.
