Creative Spaces: European Sustainable Practices
Meeting with Cili Lohasz and her team member and Valyo projects, lunch in Golya and meeting with their team. Transfer to Bratislava, dinner. Valyo (project partner): NGO, that aims to bring attention to effective and ecological use of Danube banks by designing and running temporary pop-up spaces or initiatives, combined with art, tourism and events (e.g. leisure space, mobile sauna, bar); Golya: commercial bar that works as partnership (all employees are owners), they also give space to many other NGOs—for example, kitchen is used to cook food for homeless people, bar for fundraising concerts, they also have kindergarten and free legal consultations.
