Study Visit to Slovakia

A three day study visit to best practice building renovation projects will be organized for up to 8 North Macedonian stakeholders. They will visit project of multi-apartment renovation in Bratislava, Devinska Nova Ves, single family home in Šaľa and school building in Trenčín. These are prime examples of renovation that could inspire other countries. The trip to Slovakia will be used to organize meetings of Slovak Government officials and stakeholders with their North Macedonian counterparts. Ministry of Construction, National Housing Development Fund, TSUS and Slovak Tecchnical University are on the list for now. Side event and talks with Slovak experts will be organized as needed. Note that in case of pandemic restrictions to travel, presentation of best practice examples will replace this event, effectively reducing the project cost in all categories for this specific output. Online meeting with officials and stakeholders will replace in-person meetings.
