Exchange of Knowledge Concerning Ecological and Sustainable Packaging
Agenda: - Welcome and Introduction - Objectives of the Workshop - Brief Overview of the Project and Workshops - The Expected Achievements of the Project - Edible Packaging Production Techniques - Quality Control and Safety Considerations - Regulatory Framework and Compliance - Sensory evaluation of packed food - Statistical analysis - Questions and Answers Session - Closing Remarks and Next Steps. The purpose of the workshop is to introduce the concept of ecological and sustainable packaging production and to introduce the participants to the schedule of the project. The growing interest in sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging solutions, which has led to the emergence of more eco-friendly packaging as a viable alternative will be highlighted. Quality control and safety considerations will be addressed, stressing the importance of maintaining high standards in edible packaging production.. The part of the workshop will be also the presentation of methodology that are usually conducted on experimentally produced ecological and sustainable packaging to reveal its physical, chemical and microbiological properties. With the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be invited to network and engage in informal discussions with each other, fostering connections and potential collaborations in the field of ecological and sustainable packaging production. It will be held both face-to-face and virtually.
