The majority of the world's fairy tales are those that have very important messages to tell about the male-female relationship. To recognise and love the other, who is at once the same as us and yet so different, to respect the other's otherness is a difficult task. With the wisdom of a bygone age, fairy tales show us that it is possible to do this well, even if it is not easy for the heroes of the story. The performance Competition of the Fools, which presents the constant conflict between men and women in a very humorous approach, offering the audience a soul-refreshing picture that not only helps women and men to understand and accept each other, but also to make their relationship more beautiful and better, and ultimately to make love triumph. The first step is for the man to understand and accept the woman and for the woman to understand and accept the man.
