Training for Trainers

A Training for Trainers will be held for 10 youngsters identified from the participants of activity N1 (Capacity Building Training Course for Local Green Activists from Kvemo Kartli). The TOT aims to support activist-trainers who have a will to develop and deliver trainings on environmental and sustainable activism. The activity will support participants to develop the understanding and skills required to design and deliver environmental trainings and workshops in their local communities. The TOT will cover the following topics: training skills in environmental education focused on sustainability, encouraging young participants to create their own programme of environmental educator focused on sustainability, exploring different approaches to education, techniques for building the group to support learning, tips for designing experiential workshops, discussing and exploring the factors that ensure professional quality of environmental education. As a result of the TOT participants will gain confidence and skills to design and deliver high quality short workshops and will significantly increase their understanding of the issues and facilitation skills needed to run longer residential workshops. Armenian expert will share experience environmental education in Armenia.
