V4 Academy: Masterclass on Film & Young Audiences

V4 Academy: Masterclass on Accessing New Film Markets, in partnership with New Horizons Festival in Poland, is an initiative directed towards young professionals. The symposium is meant to offer a more in-depth analysis on project promotion and development. Together with professionals from Portugal, experts sent by New Horizons Festival will share and compare their knowledge with young, less experienced, film industry enthusiasts. The event will provide the needed convenience of exchanging cinematic culture insights and experience, thus fitting perfectly into the main project’s aims. Throughout the process, the participants will gain invaluable insight which can help them bring their work further, applying new strategies and expanding in order to reach better outcomes and results. With this experience, young filmmakers will understand better how to promote their work in order to access new markets while festival workers will get ideas of diversifying their programme through internationalization. Through this, the coordinators will represent also a channel of distribution and networking between Portugal and the partner countries for future collaborations, bringing even more development to the idea of cultural exchange.
