The Most Beautiful Catastophe—Art and Ecology in V4 and Beyond
The group exhibition in Kronika Gallery, Bytom will present artworks of Polish, Hungarian, Czech and Slovak artists of different generations and styles dealing with the issue of climate change, and human impact on natural environment. By combining video art, installation, photography and performance, the interdisciplinary exhibition-intervention will envision possible future of post-industrial societies and enhance active participation in changing the reality. Using the tools of artistic expression, the show will address the issues of individual responsibility and climate change within both local, and global contexts of post-industrial region and just energy transition. Project partners with conceptualise Hungarian, Slovak and Czech inputs in the project.
