Workshops with Experts at the School of Visual Arts

One of the most important changes and innovations of the current edition of the festival is bringing European experts from the V4 region to New York City who will largely contribute to the program. Besides their participation at panel discussions, organized between screening sets at the festival, they are also going to hold workshops for university students, specializing in animation. Workshops will be accommodated by our main partner, the School of Visual Arts (SVA), one of the most prestigious universities of the field in the world. Each workshop will be realized in partnership with the SVA, attended by approximately 20 students and supervised by professors from the SVA. The workshops will be streamed online in order to make them available for larger audiences. Adding an educational layer to the festival gives the opportunity to engage more people on a deeper level and to promote animation and also the educational institutes from the region involved with animation in the US.
