Visegrad panel discussion

The panel discussion will focus on film schools in the V4 countries and the different methods how the documentary film is being taught in universities. Though documentary film belongs to the fastest growing and most progressive film industries, the journalists in the region are still unsure how to treat the subject. The panelists will be film theoreticians from V4 film schools. We also consider translating the texts written on the subject by students (theses works) from the respective V4 schools. Creating an Edible Visegrad Forest

We aim to create the first edible Visegrad forest, with mixed species of mainly nut trees on a degraded area with children. Participants will get to know diverse edible tree species, for which water catchment needs to be designed and water harvest measures implemented. Children and their parents will be taught during this event about different water conservation techniques. Partners will design the appropriate water harvesting method for this Visegrad forest to ensure that the rainwater is properly harvested for the trees also in times of droughts. For this event our present and past project partners will be invited, along with all nearby Czech and Polish forest (pre)schools and local schools so that forest plantation becomes a usual autumn activity for children. Festival Identity

The Festival Identity is a unique workshop for the film festivals from the V4 region to exchange know-how with other festivals from across the world.
