Contribution to the topic of the festival by performance presented by Pod Palmovkou Theatre, Prague, Czech Republic. One of the most distinctive contemporary European directors and recent recipient of European Theatre Prize (most prestigious European theatre distinction) Jan Klata and one of the most provocative and essential works of European culture… All of us have a concept of evil – some try to face it, some cynically take advantage of it, some are fascinated by it, some follow it unknowingly. But what is the concept of good nowadays? What does Faust’s story of the confident search for humanity and the effort to uncover the core of life and law of nature convey the contemporary world? Does hope still exist? Other of the two performances which showcased to theatre professionals from other V4 countries by the project leader.
