3Kino Festival 2019 / Prague, CZ – “Islands of Freedom / 1989 – 2019” – film program

In 2019, the leitmotiv of the 3Kino Festival is "Islands of Freedom / 1989 - 2019". Its aim is to commemorate the 30 years anniversary since the fall of the communist regimes in the V4 countries. The film festival will - for the first time in its 5 years of succesfull existence - turn into a competition festival. The deadline for the applications of the films is set for the end of September 2019. Before that, it is impossible to list the specific films of the festival. Besides the films that will take part in the competititon, the festival also focuses on the young film audience and will hold at least four school projections for pupils and students.
