II. Meeting, workshop and study visit

Implementation of the second event in Prague, Czech Republic. During these four days participants will discuss the results of the mapping process as of the actual state at that time. This time a special focus is given to the Czech partners in the topic of interactivity / reactivity / sound and light design, that is a crucial part of improving the art & technology scene, as this technique is widely used nowadays, but often not professionally. Czech partners, together with members of Ziggurat Project and Hungarian participants of STELLA organize a two-day workshops aiming a professional exchange. These workshops are opened for a general public. The meeting will improve the participants skills in the topic, and also brings them closer to be able to work on the common education program. This time we will get a better understanding of the Czech local scene and its current state, and will brainstorm about the education programs possible modules. Movement & Technology workshop / STELLA #reactivity #interactivity #sensorsensing #choreographicinstallation #cooperativeaesthetics #physicalcomputing The workshop incorporates a common reflexion and a practical, creative process around the following questions: How can we integrate digital technologies in performing arts? What do we mean by reactivity or interactivity and how can it be connected to movement ? From the technical point of view we concentrate on sensor sensing. From the artistic point of view we put a special focus on installations that by using digital tools trigger movement composition and that way shift the traditional roles of dancer/choreographer/audience member or are based on cooperative aesthetics. Dates and location: 12-13th of October, Prague, Czech Republic Saturday: 10am - 6pm Alta Studio Sunday: 11am - 6pm Prostor39 Mentors of the workshop: Lubos Zbranek (CZ), light designer, new media artist Michal Mitro (CZ/SK), new media artist / live artist, Kristóf Szabó (HU) - Kristoflab, visual artist, Attila Szász (HU), software engineer. This meeting will also allow us to work further on the planned output of the whole project, that we started to discuss during the kick-off meeting in Bratislava. Besides the workshop and the project meetings a study visit will be dedicated to Signal festival (https://www.signalfestival.com/en/) which is a festival of art, science, and technology with a programme full of interactive installations, workshops, lectures, and live performances in Prague. Participants will exchange ideas about the art works and technologies seen at the festival. This festival again provides an opportunity for further networking in the field and to continue the mapping process. http://zigguratproject.com/stella

Piano Concert 2 – Simon Bauke

Simon Bauke is a graduate of De Ruimte Soest, a Dutch democratic school and he comes to present the public his "live music meditation". It is very helpful for homeschooling platform to have the opportunity to present any adult, who never attended common public school, but alternative democratic school. He can present his talent as adult already to the public and help to overcome prejudices about homeschooling and free democratic schools... It is great opportunity after the concert experience for discussion about informal learning tools and also alternative teacher training opportunities. It is very helpful also for parents of homeschooling children, because it helps them to overcome fears and brings new views thank to the discussion. For children he could be also great inspiration. It is a chance for the public to change their views on children growing up in a home schooling or free school environment. https://www.facebook.com/svobodnaskolaronja/
