Seminar in Macedonia

Seminar is organized to discuss the following: - The level of development of Social Economy in Macedonia ( legislation, support structures, financing system, public prucurement, etc.) ; - The main barriers for development of Social Economy. - Exploration of possible activities including solutions and good practices implemented in other countries. - Discussions on the concept of pilot Social Enterprise to be supported within the project in each of the participating countries. - During the seminar the Study visit will be organized in civic society organisation / social enterprise to facilitate mutual learning and cross-fertilisation of ideas and good practices. Duration: 4 days. Participants: 8 representatives from participating countries together with Macedonian representatives from civil society / local municipalities, job centres, social welfare centres; thanks to this seminar the concept of SE will be better recognized and developed, awareness will be raised.CSOs will be inspired to follow the SE path and create work places for the disadvantaged and also to be more self-sufficient. Beverages and extracts from bee products – competitive exhibition

The project also plans to prepare a competitive exhibition of beverages and extracts from bee products. The exhibition is planned to take place in Kyiv with participation of at least 120 beverages and extracts, especially from Ukraine. The object of the exhibition is to present the inventiveness and possibilities of using bee products for production of healthy beverages. Beekeepers from project partner countries can also participate in the exhibition. The evaluation of exhibits will be according to the International Classifier. The competitive exhibits will be used to process one lecture and one textbook about possibilities of using bee products for the production of healthy beverages. Eco-Summit – Tokaj

The summit will be attended by students from eco-trainings from partner towns. Training and worksops are planned including outdoor workshops. The group of partner cities will have 15 students and 2 teachers. In this way, each student of local eco-training will participate in 2 summits during the project and logistic problems in small towns will be avoided. Guests will have accomodation secured by local students in their homes. Workshops and trainings will take place in local school with participation of experts. There will be outdoor workshops when students will have oportunity to visit essential places which were mentioned in eco-ideas. Summit will be oportunity to strengthen cooperation and for guests to understand problems and solutions (eco-ideas) that hosts will be proposing.
