Researchers’ Night

Organised within the UNIGHTED project (H2020 programme), the Researchers’ Night is a series of events taking place also in Poznan, Poland (there are also other polish cities involved). The participation of the project at this event will be covered by the Polish partner PSNC. It is open to the general public and is especially dedicated to children, teachers, and parents, to show that the everyday work of scientists and researchers can be fascinating, diverse and involving. We will involve PSNC researchers to focus on the HPC environment, and show it in the most attractive way possible. One feature will be a virtual presentation of the PSNC data center, showing their supercomputers in 3D glasses during a virtual trip. https://superheroes4science.eu/

I. Kick-off meeting, workshop and study visit I.

Implementation of the first event: the kick-off meeting (4 days) in Bratislava, Slovakia. The aim of this meeting is to further get to know each partner’s activities, profile and focus of interest in the field of movement and technology; to review the final design of the project and its phases; to have a first discussion of the actual state of the field of performing arts and technology in the V4 region and to define methods for a detailed mapping of the field in question, facilitated by a workshop by the Hungarian team. The mapping aims to quantifiably explore the current state of the performing arts & technology in the V4 region regarding the number of institutions, artistic groups or individuals operating in the area. It is necessary in order to define what specifically should be the next steps in the field, on what know-how can we build an education program, and how it could be adapted to all four countries. During this event we will put a special focus on the presentation of our Polish partner and their project 'The neurophysiology of an artist in a performance’ which will be an event opened for a general public during the time of Biela Noc - Bratislava. A study visit and common reflexion will be dedicated to Biela Noc festival - Bratislava (https://www.bielanoc.sk), as it is the largest and most visited festival of contemporary arts in Slovakia with a special focus on art and technology. The festival also provides a perfect opportunity for further networking in the field and to start the mapping process. http://zigguratproject.com/stella
