Borders and bridges festival-Conn(e/a)ctivity V4 book culture brunch

The V4 Book Culture Brunch is an event that will give space to open, informal networking, conversations and debates, in the course of which co-working relations and professional network building will be fostered among professional individuals as well as institutions that are operating in a similar or identical field of profession. The Brunch is an encounter of invited V4 international literary and book festivals, publishers, book agencies and cultural organizations in the morning program schedule, the aim of which is introducing the activities and operation of the invited guest participants, the strengthening of the multilateral engagement and partnership network of the V4 literary sphere, and its representatives in the form of real, face - to - face encounters. Furthermore, the goal of the Brunch is to enhance the mutual exchange of books and authors across the V4 region, and the generation of future collaborations, actual, concrete calls and commissions, festival invitations etc. The event provides an opportunity for the participating V4 book publishers to present the most important publications of the year to the other V4 partner countries, in a casual form, while they will in return get a chance to get acquainted with the activities of all the other participating partners, their publishing strategies and choices, and thus get a more complex picture of how they make decisions on which foreign authors to chose for translating and introducing in their home country. http://miszje.hu/tartalom/borders&bridges
