Visegrad films selected at FIPADOC

Over eight days, FIPADOC showcases a selection of outstanding documentary films. In 2024, we showed more than 150 films to more than 32.000 spectators, among which 16 films were from Visegrad, with titles such as ULA (Poland, Musical documentary competition), PELIKAN BLUE (Hungary, European Stories selection) or BASIA: THREE SHORT STORIES (Poland, Young creation selection) which won the Tënk-Fipadoc Young Creation Award. Our ambition is to offer our audience a dynamic and memorable experience in theaters. Therefore, we always invite directors of the selected films to share Q&A sessions with the public. Invitation of directors include transportation, accommodation and a professional accreditation (which grants access to the whole Industry program and the whole festival). https://fipadoc.com/en/selections

The second day of activities in Wroclaw: hard-skills (1x round table) and soft-skills (1x seminar)

The teaching of electric drives is one of the key issues for today's industry, especially due to the replacement of mechanical and hydraulic components with electrics in industries such as aerospace, automotive and many others. On the other hand, however, teaching students in this subject faces enormous challenges, in an era of changing technologies, production methods, but also students and teaching methods. Therefore, the first activity of the second day in Wrocław will start with a round table "Teaching electrical machines and control of electrical drives". Tutoring is an innovative, personalised form of education, involving individual collaboration between a professor (tutor) and a student (tutee), or a more experienced student (peer tutor) and his younger college (tutee). The tutoring can involve both academic and scientific topics but also self-development and soft-skills. All of the students can benefit from tutoring, more talented tutees can improve their skills above the programm of studies, however, tutoring can also help students not get expelled from the university. The idea of the tutoring will be presented during the seminar entitled "Tutoring for student in higher education", given by a accredited specialist in this area. www.paepede.tech
