V4 Winter Games Emil Open 2025 – accompanying program

An integral part of the Games will again be an accompanying program. The goal of the program is not only to make the Games more attractive, but also to promote sports for people with disabilities and raise awareness about their everyday life. For the athletes, we have prepared an opportunity to compete with the champions. It will be a unique opportunity for them to meet their idols and learn from their experience. During the Games, visitors will be able to try individual sports for people with disabilities and the program will be more attractive for them. The opening ceremony will include a parade of flag bearers, introduction of sports teams or local sports clubs and non-profit organizations. There will also be a Benefit show with a popular Czech presenter and his guests. The closing ceremony is an opportunity for networking and preparing further cooperation. It is intended for athletes, tournament partners, team representatives or municipal representatives and it includes the evaluation of the Games and the awarding of prizes to the best athletes. Our goal is that the participants also take away cultural experiences and have the opportunity to socialize, so we prepare for them cultural activities (trips, excursions, entrances to museums, etc.) Time schedule: see Deliverables-sports competition. winter.emilopen.cz
Seminar/workshop, Lecture • Wroclaw

The first day of activities in Wroclaw: hard-skills (2x workshop, 1x lecture)

The inverted classroom, also known as the flipped classroom, flips the traditional model of teaching by delivering instructional content outside of class (often through videos or readings) and using class time for active learning activities, such as discussions, problem-solving, and hands-on projects. Therefore, participants from Wrocław will organize workshop: "Inverted Classroom in Power Electronics", where model laboratory exercises conducted in this way of teaching will be presented. Then, lecture on "Modern Teaching Methodologies" will be presented. Finally workshop on "How students perceive teaching? Quality teaching in eyes of student" will be conducted. The materials for model classes, and presentation on modern teaching methodologies will be made available on the project website, where they will also be accessible to other target groups. www.paepede.tech

Submission of VISEGRAD films and projects

As stated above, we pay very close attention to the presence and visibility of VISEGRAD films and projects at FIPADOC. This is directly related to our 2021 Focus, which was organized during the pandemic, online. Therefore, VISEGRAD participants couldn’t benefit from the “real” FIPADOC experience. Ever since, we have maintained a meaningful part of our activities directly dedicated to VISEGRAD. To achieve this high level of representation through films and projects, we want to make both our calls for films and projects more accessible for VISEGRAD filmmakers, by offering a free waiver to submit. We kindly ask the VISEGRAD fund to help us cover the costs of such an action. As for comparison, here are the 2024 figures of submissions from VISEGRAD: In 2024, 112 films and VR experiences submissions from VISEGRAD filmmakers In 2024, 10 projects submissions from VISEGRAD filmmakers (thanks to the 50% waiver we send to the professionals who request it) https://fipadoc.com/en
