Sarajevo Tech Startup Summit – Rise of the Entrepreneurs

The Sarajevo Tech Startup Summit - Rise of the Entrepreneurs is a 4-day event that will take place from Thursday, September 14th to Sunday, September 17th, 2023. The event will be held at the Center Skenderija in Sarajevo and aims to bring together IT startups, investors, experts, and other stakeholders from the V4 countries and the Western Balkans region to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the IT startup ecosystem in the region. The conference will be held over the first two days of the event, Thursday and Friday, and will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and presentations from industry leaders and experts. The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including the latest trends in the tech industry, the challenges faced by IT startups, and the opportunities for collaboration and investment in the Western Balkans region. Attendees will have the chance to hear from industry leaders, networking with potential investors, and connecting with like-minded individuals to discuss the latest trends in the tech industry. The hackathon will be held over the last two days of the event, Saturday and Sunday, and will bring together IT startups, developers, and designers to work on new and innovative projects. Online seminar on heritage

The Czech experience of heritage interpretation will be presented at the seminar. The history of the largest Czech open-air museum in the Carpathian region will be revealed. Innovative workshop in Wrocław (3B)

Innovative workshop will be an important stage of the works on creating the catalogue of the good practices in the field of the supporting Ukrainian refugees. In the first stage there will be 4 country workshops - one in each V4 country. The workshop in Poland will take place in Wrocław. The representatives of the applicant, as well as the invited researchers, practitioners, students and doctoral students from Poland will be active workshop participants. A modified methodology developed under the Innovative Social Investment project: Strengthening communities in Europe, financed under the Horizon 2020 program will be used to make innovative workshops. The aim of the workshops will be to assess the usefulness of good practices for selected migrant profiles and to assess the possibility of using them in the future.
