Opening Conference of V4WB RMA Network Plus and best practice collection supporting the daily work of RMAs

The launching event of the project will take place in person in Bratislava, Slovakia on 17-18 October 2023, targeting RMAs from the V4+WB region and beyond. The event is hosted by the Slovak University of Technology, Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology. The main focus of the event is to discuss the state-of-the-art of recognition and conditions of RMAs in the region and present relevant initiatives and the opportunities provided at the EU level (RM ROADMAP & ERA Action 17). For that reason, the Emerald Handbook on RMA globally will be also introduced, and certain chapters covering V4+WB countries will be presented along with other chapters showcasing the importance of professionalization, recognition and training. Besides, activities of current EU initiatives, such as the RM ROADMAP and ERA Action 17 will be presented and opportunities for the deeper engagement of RMA communities will be discussed. National Symposium on Countering Disinformation in Sarajevo

The National Symposium on Countering Disinformation aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among stakeholders invested in combating the growing challenge of disinformation in the Western Balkans. This event holds a unique position as it bridges the gap between policy and real-world experiences, creating a space for fruitful discussions and practical solutions. The symposiums will last 1 working day and will bring together policy and decision-makers with experts on countering disinformation from each of the capital of the Western Balkan country to share their experiences on disinformation in the region. NGO and CSO workers will have an opportunity to discuss the real-time experience with disinformation with experts who deal with the issue on a daily basis and deepen their knowledge and skills to tackle disinformation. Each of the symposiums will be co-organized by the partner organization of the project as well as the participants of the project from the respective countries. 7th International conference on Novel Materials Fundamentals and Applications 2023

Novel Materials Fundamentals and Applications 2023 (NFA 2023) is an international conference, organized by Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice's Faculty of Science, held at the High Tatras, Slovak Republic. It hosts renowned experts from various scientific fields which provides an ideal space for presenting and sharing achieved scientific results therefore will contribute to the dissemination of information about biomaterial science from the V4 countries, which is one of the goals of the project.
