VENI ACADEMY: 4×4

The autumn academy is one of the culmination points of the whole project. We will organize a week-long academy in Slovakia (Banská Bystrica, in cooperation with the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica), to which we will invite students, composers, and lecturers from all participating countries. During the academy, we will study the chosen pieces in an innovative and creative way. We will engage the students in the process in a creative (with emphasis on creative self-realization, i.e. in improvisation) and lively way (rehearsals, concerts, morning openings). We have extensive experience in the organization of academies – so far, we have held 16 academies. Lecturers from V4, chosen composers and 20-24 students, producers and coordinators will participate in this part of the project. www.veniacademy.sk/4x4

Visegrad Kite CAMP Hungary

We are going to the new place, to build a new kite community, to organize 1st Kite event on the water – Lake Velence. It’s a challenge but we cannot wait to start with this new discipline there. We met very nice and friendly partners there. The main part of the common program will be a presentation of the best snowkite or kite places in the V4 region or nearby areas showing pictures, videos, and detailed maps of those places. This presentation is giving an opportunity to know those places and attract more kiters to visit them. It is very important to give people information about. Also during an event we plan a kite exhibition on water and free kiteboarding courses for beginners or advanced riders.
