An Educational visit of 10 students and 2 lecturers from the Department of Journalism, National University Lviv Polytechnic to the department of journalism University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trn

Exploring the school, surroundings and High Tatras

Guests from the partner school will get acquainted with the functioning of the education system at our school for 5 days. We will introduce them to the project of integration and care of pupils with physical disabilities in the field of education and health care, which has been implemented since 1995. They will learn about the possibilities of further study at grammar school, study in the Slovak-German bilingual section and the possibility of obtaining a German school-leaving certificate. The program will also take place in the High Tatras, which have long been among the tourist destinations of tourists from the Czech Republic. Project meeting in Slovakia – „What do lichens and cycling have in common?” – joint event

Young people from both countries will develop digital, linguistic, civic and social competences, will try to compare air quality in Poland and in Slovakia, based on the lichen scale and assess people's approach to eco-transport. Students - get to know each other (ice - breaking activity), - learn about the history of the Visegrad group, - they will visit Kosice together, - they will participate in educational activities in the landscape park together, - draw conclusions from the observation of lichens, - will participate in the public presentation of the project and healthy lifestyle, - will take part in school assembly „Promotion of healthy diet and activities focusing on personal well-being and both physical and mental health.” - create a fanpage of the project, - they will create an ecological Polish-Slovak-English dictionary. www.zs.gromnik.pl
