Holis V4 Interdisciplinary Summer School

Organizing a ten days workshop that, on the one hand, delivers a curriculum around soft skills and interdisciplinary collaboration to the participants and, on the other hand, provides organizational innovation and development results to our partners at V4. This entirely onsite experience allows everyone to focus on delivering ideas and solutions. Every day, participants meet for several workshop sessions, expert lectures and additional activities supporting mentioned skills. Team facilitators will lead a group counting seven people. To ensure a high level of cooperation, Holis takes extraordinary measures to select the right participants (ones with various professional & cultural backgrounds) to put them in diverse teams. Every team will have unlimited access to: The ECD organizations (“problem owners”) get to know their pains and problems; Experts from selected fields to get inspiration and tips on potential solutions; A regional community that cooperates with ECD organizations to know their perspective and opinion on these organizations. Due to the potential for another covid outbreak, we will successfully continue the hybrid format as we did in 2021. Then the Holis Summer School format slightly changed - the program takes not ten days but 6-7 weeks online. https://www.weareholis.org/blog/holis-school-2023

Interdisciplinary Arts Festival

The project's main event will be a one-day interdisciplinary poetry and art festival, featuring artists of separate disciplines from Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland. The objective of this event is to engage a new audience with the procedural aspects of poetry and performance by curating a space and site-specific happening where new notions of poetry can be created and traditional binaries of performer-audience roles can be challenged. By composing an international cast from separate disciplines, we aim to present poetry as a multi-media and interdisciplinary experience that is accessible to an audience beyond literary and academic circles. While the specific acts presented are dependent on our cast's expertise, the event will feature three Acts that combine poetry, performance, music, and installation occurring simultaneously to create a site-specific, immersive experience. https://www.facebook.com/events/628429855550576
