Comic Book Colony: Signature of a Memorandum of partnership

In the last days of the comic book colony, all present partner organizations will sign a memorandum of cooperation The member organizations of this coalition will call on each other to hold comic festivals and other events in their countries. Also, this coalition will participate with joint project proposals to various donors at the international level. This coalition will be open for the inclusion of comic book associations from other West Balkan countries. Sustainability of this project can be seen in the increased number of people interested for further work with comic-strip and the increased activity of the same people in events that include comic as an art form in and out of their countries. OBJECT:VLAK : Celebrating Poetry Beyond the Stage

This is the second event of our project and will function both as the travel from Prague to our target location, Krakow, and as a team-building trip between our cast members and attendees. Our cast, composed of Czech, Slovak, and Hungarian members will depart from Prague on 25.08.2023 to arrive in Krakow eight hours later. Our objective is to answer the question, "what happens when a group of writers sit on a train for seven hours?" Titled OBJECT:VLÁK, the cast members will give readings of their works and hold discussions on their literary practices and approaches to poetics throughout separate cabins in the train car. The outcomes of this phase are twofold: building rapport between cast members who come from different backgrounds and experiences, and gathering photo and video documentation of the happening for a documentary, Together, the sharing and discussion of poetry in an unconventional space will help signify our objective to celebrate the poetry that occurs off the stage, and rather in the spontaneous interactions we have. https://www.facebook.com/events/631377341915189
